Miss World 1960

Norma Gladys Cappagli
ARGENTINA
After winning Miss World, Argentina's Norma Gladys Cappagli toured the world as a top notch fashion model and became one the highest paid international models during her time. The third runner-up, Germany's Ingrun Helgard Möckel, later became Miss Europe 1961. The fourth runner-up, the USA's Judith Ann Achter of Missouri, had actually placed second in the national event, but flew into London two days after the original entry, Annette Driggers, of Freeport, New York, was disqualified for being underaged.
